The Summer of the Monsters!

This summer has quickly become the summer of the monsters! There have been three reported sightings of three monsters. Two of them were found dead and one was caught on tape! I guess these sightings by police and celebs in the Hampton's are much more reputable than some hick in the back woods on meth saying a Chupacabra ate their babeh. So I've decided to dive into these claims and make up my own mind on if they are false or not...

#1. El Chupacabra

So somewhere in Texas a police man came across this animal he believes to be the infamous Chupacabra! Here's a video with the recording of the Chupacabra and the police man's claim.

My verdict? FALSE!!!!!!

Why? Well they said them selves that an animal carcass was found that looked exactly like this and it was a kind of wolf. It really does look like a wolf that mated with a bore! All they saw was this weird looking animal running. They did not see it sucking blood out of another poor animal, nor was it covered in blood. Maybe it's just a mutated dog?

#2. The Montauk Monster

So the animal above reportedly washed up on the Hampton shores in the end of July. No one knows what it is called but it has been deemed the Montauk Monster. There is only one photo of it and no body left aside from claims some old man took it and said he was going to mount it on his wall (ew!!). The picture gives no size reference, clues to where it was actually taken, and very well may be photoshopped. Of course eye witnesses came forth after it had been reported. They always do.

My verdict? Who the hell knows?!

This thing could be a number of things. It could be a water logged sea turtle without it's shell, it could be some sort of ugly bird water logged that has had it's feathers plucked out by hungry fish, or it could be just someone's idea of a practical joke. Who knows? Maybe if the body turned up and the DNA was examined I could make up my mind of what this thing is if it does in fact exist.

#3. Big Foot!!!

So two "big foot hunters," by the names of Matthew Whitton (AKA Gary Parker) and Rick Dyer, claim to have found Big Foot's body in the northern woods of Georgia. They have one (and yes I stress that) photo of the body and the exact location of the finding is not being released to protect the creatures. They will not release any more pictures or information until a press conference on Friday in Palo Alto, California aside from the following...

"Here are some of the vital statistics on the “Bigfoot” body:
*The creature is seven feet seven inches tall.
*It weighs over five hundred pounds.
*The creature looks like it is part human and part ape-like.
*It is male.
*It has reddish hair and blackish-grey eyes.
*It has two arms and two legs, and five fingers on each hand and
five toes on each foot.
*The feet are flat and similar to human feet.
*Its footprint is sixteen and three-quarters inches long and five and three-quarters inches wide at the heel.
*From the palm of the hand to the tip of the middle finger, its hands are
eleven and three-quarters inches long and six and one-quarter inches wide.
*The creatures walk upright. (Several of them were sighted on the same day that the body was found.)
*The teeth are more human-like than ape-like.
*DNA tests are currently being done and the current DNA and photo evidence will be presented at the press conference on Friday, August 15th."

My verdict? It's a total hoax!!!!

Why? There is one damn picture that looks like a bear in a mask. Why wouldn't they have taken and posted pictures of the other sightings that occurred on the day the body was found? I doubt that would have given them any less credit or ruined their press conference. If there are so many of them in the woods they were found in why are they not commonly seen? I doubt these woods have zero people traffic. It's seems unlikely that the first body to be found would not have been found sooner. Especially since the east coast has been inhabited for so much longer than the rest of America. I know what you are thinking. "Well Shawnee IF it is a hoax why would they hold a press conference with such confidence?" That is a good question. Maybe because these people are attention starved crazies? I will gladly take back that comment if this all pans out and it's proven to be true. I seriously doubt any of this is factual.

Reason 1 why I am boycotting the Olympics this year!

We all know that cats and dogs are used for food in China. It has gone beyond that... WAY beyond that.

I really don't have a problem with them eating dogs and cats. We eat beef and some people find cows to be sacred, pigs as well. It's all about culture barriers.

Imagine taking your little beloved pet dog on a walk only to be stopped by the police and have your dog taken from you. Of course they don't stop there they take a large stick and beat your dog to death, right in front of you.

This is the case for many dog and cat owners in China. They're pets are taken from them and killed right in front of them. People are also putting dogs and cats in bags and leaving them curb side to be picked up and brought to pounds or shall I say death camps. People are willingly handing over their pets due to the propaganda their government has been putting out saying all animals carry diseases that could harm humans.

The pounds store the animals in cages with no room to even move. They also tell the people that anyone can adopt these animals but when people try to they are turned away by guards. There are reports that all 12 pounds are being heavily guarded more like a prison than anything. These pounds are killing hundreds of pets a day.

So you may ask why is this all happening? They wanted to ensure that their country is nice and "clean" for the Olympics. So many people want to protest these happenings but they fear if they do they will be put in jail or worse... killed.

We also brutally kill farm animals and abuse them while they are alive with bad living conditions and such. I do not condone what we do either. Pets are another story. They were apart of a family and are torn away from their loved ones... or worse given up by their loved ones to be tortured and killed.

It makes me sick!

Pirates or Ninjas?

The age old question... pirates or ninjas?

First of all who decided you need to compare the two?! They are totally different! Why not... "Pirates or FBI agent?" Hmmmm?

Now to make a wise choice you should always dissect the two choices.

"In the popular modern imagination, pirates of the classical period were rebellious, clever teams who operated outside the restricting bureaucracy of modern life. In reality, many pirates ate poorly, did not become fabulously wealthy, and died young. Unlike traditional Western societies of the time, many pirate crews operated as limited democracies.[22] Both the captain and the quartermaster were elected by the crew, they in turn appointed the other ship's officers. The captain of a pirate ship was often a fierce fighter in whom the men could place their trust, rather than a more traditional authority figure sanctioned by an elite. However, when not in battle, the quartermaster usually had the real authority. Many groups of pirates shared in whatever they seized; pirates injured in battle might be afforded special compensation similar to medical insurance.[23] Often all of these terms were agreed upon and written down by the pirates, but these articles could also be used as incriminating proof that they were outlaws. Pirates readily accepted outcasts from traditional societies, perhaps easily recognizing kindred spirits, and they were known to welcome them into the pirate fold. For example as many as 40% of the pirate vessels crews were slaves "liberated" from captured slavers. Such practices within a pirate crew were tenuous, however, and did little to mitigate the brutality of the pirate's way of life.
Even though pirates raided many ships, most if any did not bury their treasure, or booty. Often, the "treasure" that was stolen was food, water, alcohol, weapons, or clothing. Other things they stole were household items like bits of soap and gear like rope and anchors. For this reason, there was no need for the pirates to bury these goods.
The classical age of piracy coexisted with a rise in British imperialism which required merchant vessels to transport goods and warships to protect the trade ships from pirates and privateers. Living conditions on the warships were horrible even by 17th century standards; sailors were often fed rotten, maggot-infested food, frequently suffered from scurvy or other nutritional disorders, and could be counted lucky to escape their service without a crippling injury. British captains were known to have been extremely brutal; the captain held a nearly sovereign power aboard his ship and many were unafraid to abuse that power. To fill the warships, officers would forcibly pressgang boys and young men to replace lost crew. The horrid living conditions, constant threat to life, and brutality of the captain and his officers pushed many men over the edge. Possessing seafaring skill, a learned intolerance for absolute authority, and a disdain for the motherland they might have believed abandoned them, many crews would simply mutiny during an attack and offer themselves and their ship as a new pirate vessel and crew.[citation needed]"

So here is what we can conclude a pirate is crook who lives poorly and steals in the name of booze!

"The ninja use of stealth tactics against better-armed enemy samurai does not mean that they were limited to espionage and undercover work: that is simply where their actions most notably differed from the more accepted tactics of samurai. Their weapons and tactics were partially derived from the need to conceal or defend themselves quickly from samurai, which can be seen from the similarities between many of their weapons and various sickles and threshing tools used at the time.[4]
Ninja as a group first began to be written about in 15th century feudal Japan as martial organizations predominately in the regions of Iga and Koga of central Japan, though the practice of guerrilla warfare and undercover espionage operations goes back much further.[citation needed]
At this time, the conflicts between the clans of daimyo that controlled small regions of land had established guerrilla warfare and assassination as a valuable alternative to frontal assault.[citation needed] Since Bushido, the Samurai Code, forbade such tactics as dishonorable,[citation needed] a daimyo could not expect his own troops to perform the tasks required; thus, he had to buy or broker the assistance of ninja to perform selective strikes, espionage, assassination, and infiltration of enemy strongholds.[citation needed]
There are a few people and groups of people regarded as having been potential historical ninja from approximately the same time period. It is rumored that some of the higher-ranking daimyos and shoguns were in fact ninja, and exploited their role as ninja-hunters to deflect suspicion and obscure their participation in the 'dishonorable' ninja methods and training.[citation needed]
Though typically classified as assassins, many of the ninja were warriors in all senses. In Stephen K. Hayes's book, Mystic Arts of the Ninja, Troicuk (pronounced troycock), one of the most well-known ninja[citation needed], is depicted in armour similar to that of a samurai. Hayes also says that those who ended up recording the history of the ninja were typically those within positions of power in the military dictatorships, and that students of history should realize that the history of the ninja was kept by observers writing about their activities as seen from the outside.
"Ninjutsu did not come into being as a specific well defined art in the first place, and many centuries passed before ninjutsu was established as an independent system of knowledge in its own right. Ninjutsu developed as a highly illegal counter culture to the ruling samurai elite, and for this reason alone, the origins of the art were shrouded by centuries of mystery, concealment, and deliberate confusion of history."[5]
A similar account is given by Hayes: "The predecessors of Japan's ninja were so-called rebels favoring Buddhism who fled into the mountains near Kyoto as early as the 7th century A.D. to escape religious persecution and death at the hands of imperial forces."[6]"

So from this we can conclude that a ninja is a highly trained individual in the arts of war and is paid well.

So in my humble opinion Ninjas are totally better than pirates!! Why? Well being a ninja takes a certain skill, a lot of training, and determination. It's also a paid gig so therefor it is lucrative (well if you put your morals aside) and you could probably make a decent living off of it.

Now... don't get me wrong. Pirates are pretty cool too but it's a life based on luck. If a ship goes by and if there is a good loot the living shall be good but only if. They also lived a shorter life span and everyone knew they were pirates. A ninja could probably live a normal life when not on a mission.

Are you prepared for a zombie outbreak, or are you just going to wing it?

OMG! Why didn't they ask sooner? OF COURSE I AM!

I've seen that 28 days and weeks later. I have two different colored eyes so the virus totally can't infect me.

Also everyone and their mother says I look like Mila all the time so I could most likely kick some zombie butt!!!

Based on these two facts (Ok one is a fact and the other is random people's opinion) I am totally set for when the zombies move in!!
